Dr. Kyle Weir has been researching, writing, teaching, and practicing in the counseling profession for over 20 years. 

He is trained in the LifeSTAR recovery model and contributes to the refinement of that program as the Clinical Director of LifeSTAR of the Central Valley. Through LifeSTAR, he also works with partners of those who are in the program. Kyle also oversees the YouthStar program, a treatment program for sexually addicted teenagers.

He is a Professor of MFT at Fresno State and the Counselor Education Program Coordinator.  As a nationally renowned expert in play therapy (particularly with adoptive and foster families with Reactive Attachment Disorder), Kyle enjoys working with children and their families.

Additionally, he has considerable experience working with marital concerns and has developed a model for working with couples.  He also works with sexual addictions, depression, ADHD/oppositional defiant disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and religious/spiritual concerns.
